Educating groups of people about the many styles of dance influenced by a wealth of different cultural traditions, locations and historical events is a fascinating and engaging subject that we enjoy sharing in our Dance workshops for all.
The duration of the workshops can be 3 hours (half day) or 6 Hours (full day)
Our Workshops are designed to suit all ages and abilities across the UK.
When structuring a workshop day, we are happy to be flexible and can work around the school timetable. In our experience we suggest booking at least 30 minutes to 90 minutes per class which works well.
Additional Information:
We offer half day or full day workshops.
A Typical Dance Workshop Day Would Consist Of…
- An introduction to the dance style
- A dance warm up
- Time to learn a choreographed dance routine in the chosen theme
- An opportunity for the students to perform the routine. (The routine would have been learnt throughout the day, which can be performed at the end of the workshop or maybe at the end of the school day in an assembly setting)
- Cool down to end the session safely.
Testimonials:
“I would just like to say what a fantastic time Year 2 had at the workshop today. The parents were blown away by what the children had achieved!
Thank you so much for all your planning and preparation.
All the children loved performing and their parents and teachers were very proud of them.
I hope to be in touch next year so that my new class can have such a wonderful experience too.
Thanks again”

”I just wanted to thank you for the fantastic Aboriginal dance workshop you led at our school last week. The children really enjoyed the morning and the parents who watched the performance in the afternoon also really enjoyed it. Many of our teachers commented on how well the children had performed and were impressed by the quality of the dancing they had learnt during the morning.
I will definitely be booking with you again next year.
Thanks again”
