Workshop Summary: 

In this 50 minute online session pupils will discover changes in Britain from the Stone Age to the Iron Age by investigating what people ate and the technology that they used to produce their food in each time period. Your class will be engaged with interactive storytelling, examine replica objects, they will problem solve and discuss their findings with an archaeologist to identify changes through time.


In order to make this a themed day, why not add the cook along make a cheese sandwich the old fashioned way session. You will join archaeologist Vanessa to recreate ancient food in a modern environment.

Available to your pupils at school or at home! Our preferred platform is Zoom, however MS Teams or Google Meet are also available options.

Our workshop leaders are all qualified teachers, and we have an experienced archaeologist on our team.
