Create your own cartoon character! We learn about frameworks to structure your drawing, how to draw feelings through expressions and explore the visual language of cartoons to bring your character to life.
Comics and Illustration Art Workshop(KS1-KS4)

In a typical session I show the group my portfolio and demonstrate how I create characters. I introduce them to some inspiring illustrated fiction then teach them to draw a character step-by-step. I take the group through the fundamentals of character creation, then support them in creating original characters and either comic strips or picture book plans.
