Hands-on science workshop covering several curriculum-based topics. A selection of activities available as a part of the workshop
During the workshop, they will take part in activities such as build a propeller car to learn about forces and motion, build electric circuits to learn about series and parallel circuits, construct KNEX models to engage in problem-solving activities, and fire a stomp rocket.
Raspberry Pi & Coding Workshop (KS3-Higher Education)

An engaging workshop with practical’s to learn about the Raspberry Pi and coding. During the workshop, they programme the Raspberry Pi to light an LED, build a traffic light circuit and programme it using the Raspberry Pi GPIO pins and learn to code with the Scratch programming language.
Solar System Workshop (KS1-KS5)

Workshops filled with practical to learn about the solar system, stars, and the forces in the universe. During the workshop, they will conduct space experiments using the BBC: microbit and a sensor kit, learn about the planets, create a tornado in a bottle and a star constellation, and fire a stomp rocket!
Maths In A Box Workshop (KS3-KS4)

Students will learn curriculum-based Maths through a mix of practicals and games. It is designed to engage those children that lack motivation to learn Maths.
Coding & Robots Workshop (KS1-KS5)

This is a beginner workshop that is designed to teach children the basics of coding and programming of robots. It is based on the micro:bit programming device developed by the BBC.
