James has vast amounts of experience using comic art skills to educate, inspire and entertain children across a range of curriculum topics, travelling from ancient Egypt to the rainforest, pirate ships to outer space.
Brilliant Sculpture Workshop (EYFS-KS5)

Withy and Paper Sculpting: This versatile technique can be used to build large and very colourful three dimensional artwork. designs. Children can work easily with the materials to design individual pieces or work collaboratively on larger sculptures. This technique is fantastic for creating impressive sculptural installations, animals, carnival costumes and 3D screens. Large pieces can be built quickly to transform internal spaces, create scenery or provide a focus for a special event.
Fashion Design & T-Shirt Spray Painting Workshop (KS1-KS5)

We can deliver everything from Gok one recycle challenge workshops, to business and enterprise fashion workshops, Tshirt spray paint and customisation session, fashion illustration, mood board design and branding and logo development.
Funky Flowers Sculpture Workshop

Working with schools and supporting their pupils to create stunning, meaningful, bespoke art work is our mission! At the end of this workshop we will have helped to produce beautiful, cascading spiral and flower type hanging sculptures OR stunning 'fields' of funky flowers attached to brightly painted display boards around the school site.

Imagine stepping into a painting and discovering what’s inside… Magic Lantern has been turning classrooms into pop-up art galleries since 1994 and is the only organisation of its type in the UK. During our workshops children explore and engage with famous artworks and discover the world of art from cave paintings to Cubism, Gothic to Graffiti.
