In a typical session I show the group my portfolio and demonstrate how I create characters. I introduce them to some inspiring illustrated fiction then teach them to draw a character step-by-step. I take the group through the fundamentals of character creation, then support them in creating original characters and either comic strips or picture book plans.

There are challenges, facts, puzzles, AR stations, videos, audio, visual, kinaesthetic learning. The stations are designed around the evidence-based '5 Ways to Wellbeing', which are the 5 keys that have been recognised to improve mental wellbeing in children and adults. The activities also cover a huge amount of the new 2020 curriculum.
